I have got to tell you about these books!
Anita Davison, friend and fellow author, has two marvelous books out and is working on a prequel to these. Duking Days Rebellion and Duking Days Revolution. These are two wonderful novels and Anita has brought the past to life. It helps that she was born and raised and still lives in England. Lucky her at the moment, at least in my eyes Anita, she is in my team’s hometown of Manchester. But she has done her research amazingly well and it shines through her stories. If you haven’t gotten these books yet, what are you waiting for? They are available from Enspiren Press.
I’ve done it again!
Surprisingly, I’ve managed to sell another story. This time to Aspen Mountain Press. I’m really stunned by this because it took me all of two weeks to write the story. It’s a short story, 57 pages, but still, I’m shocked. I’ll post an excerpt soon!
Taking an idea from a good friend
Well Anita, you had a wonderful idea and I hope you don’t mind me borrowing it from you. I had someone ask me tonight how I manage to write books and review books, as well as fit in a full schedule otherwise. So I thought I’d give you all a sample of my weekdays.
6 a.m. - Up and out of bed. Searching for the on button on the coffee pot.
7:30 a.m. - out the door and on my way to work.
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - work. Yep, five days a week.
4:45 p.m. - Gym for thirty minutes.
6:00 p.m. - Grocery store then home.
6:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Dinner, then an hour episode of ‘Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares’. Who doesn’t love that man?
8:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. - Jr. editor duties for Coffee Time Romance & more, read a book for review and hopefully get in two or three pages of either writing or editing before bed.
So there you have it. The weekends are worse. I’m up at 8:00 am and I work on reviews and edits all day and don’t fall into bed until about 2 or 3 in the morning.

Just Sold another one to DCL!
I’m so happy right now. I’m floating! Just got word that the MS I submitted to DCL Publications has been accepted. This is the first book in a trilogy and as it stands now, they would like the second one as soon as it’s ready.
All right, off to work on edits for the second book.
